Perfectil: Skin, Hair, and Nails

After seeing a few people's blog posts about taking more Vitamins in the summer, I decided to jump on the bandwagon. When I was doing a quick shop at Asda, I saw that Perfectil: Skin, Nails and Hair Vitamins had a deal that if you bought one it was £8.99 or 3 for a £10, I went for 3 packs. I couldn't turn that offer down could I? :)

It's basically a pill that you take each day that has lots of different nutrients in it which are supposed to promote healthy skin, hair and nails. It's also supposed to be better than most creams because it helps from the inside.

So I know what you're all wondering. Has it helped you? Well, yes. I have only been taking one a day for 13 days, and I'm already seeing some improvements. My nails, are normally horribly weak and break off before getting to a reasonable length, but now they are feeling a lot stronger. My hair hasn't really changed, apart from it kind of does what I want it to more so now than it used to. I haven't seen any changes in my skin though. But, to be fair, my skin is pretty nice and clear anyway. I do get the odd blemish or two though.

It's a bit early to give definite results, so expect a blog post maybe after I've done a month, and then once I've done it for 3 months. If it really works, then I'll use them for a while, but for the moment I'm just going to try and finish the 3 packs.

Oh, and each pack contains a months supply!

Thanks everyone :)

Make-up Haul/review! Part 2

Hi everyone,

This is going to be about the MAC products I bought recently, I was going to put them in the first blog post I did, but I rambled on so much about those two NARS products there was no room! So here's part 2...

Okay, so I bought 2 products. The first being the MAC Creme Blush in the shade Ladyblush.

It's a beautiful pinky colour. This was the first cream blush I have ever tried, and I honestly will not be going back to powder any time soon. It gives such a lovely glow to your skin, and makes it look really dewy. It looks really natural, and makes you look like you have a gorgeous natural radiance. I love this product so much. At first I was a bit concerned that it was hard to blend, but after a couple of uses that problem quickly disappeared. I would recommend this to anyone.

The next product I bought was the MAC Tinted Lip Conditioner, in the shade Petting Pink

Now, don't worry, I know the picture makes it look a little bit greasy. But it's really not. I bought this first of all because I had heard people saying about how good the MAC tendertones were, and a few people said this was pretty similar. At first swipe I was really disappointed because it looked like it had no pigment whatsoever, but after using it a bit more, more and more colour seemed to show when I used it. If you do pick this up, and you find that its just looking clear on your lips, don't worry! Press it a little harder and after that, the colour will be nice and bright on your lips!

These were my first two MAC products ever, and I have been very pleased with the quality. I'm definitely going to be buying a lot more from them. I have my eye on a Lipstick, and an Eyeshadow. So, you might be getting a quick review on that in the near future!

I have a couple more blog posts organised, and I'll put another one up later today.

Thanks everyone :)

Make-up Haul/review! Part 1.

I only actually bought 4 products all together, but I have so much to say... I thought I would split it into two blog posts :) I will start with the NARS product, and then the next post will be the Mac products.

So I only ordered one thing from Nars, but at the time there was a deal on that with every purchase you made, you got a free mini lipgloss duo. I didn't quite realise how "mini" it really was.

This is the way they looked when I took them first out of the packaging :

(I really like putting in lots of unnecessary photos:) )

It was quite a nice surprise when I saw the little lip duo product there, because I totally forgot about it.

The product I actually bought though was their Bronzer in the shade "Laguna". Why did I pick that shade? Because I thought the lightest looked a little light and the darkest looked a little dark. So it was a nice in between.

(Sorry for the blurry images!)

I'm really glad I did pick it. It does, though, have glitter in it, which a lot of people don't seem to like but to be honest I quite like it! I only apply the bronzer to my cheek bones, my temples, the top of my forehead area (Hairline area.) a very light dusting on the nose, and then on the jawline. Oh, and the neck. It's nice to be even :). So I think it looks nice, but some people might not quite like it. It stays on well, and is now, by far, my favourite bronzer! Highly recommend it!

The Lip Duo had two shades of lipgloss in it, the first being Dolce Vita, and the second Striptease.

(Striptease is on the left and Dolce Vita is on the right.)

Dolce vita is a dark red, with a kind of purple undertone. Honestly? I hate it. But that's just because it isn't really my thing. Striptease, however, is a lovely nude lipgloss that looks lovely against tanned skin. Now that's more like it! I am seriously considering picking up a full sized one, but I am really wanting Turkish Delight... what do you think? Comment below:).

This ends part 1, that was a bit of a ramble wasn't it? Oh well, I have a lot to say about only 2 products. I will put up Part 2 soon!

Thanks everyone!

Glamour Magazine! (UK only.)

Okay, so if your an avid blog reader in the make-up community, you will definitely have heard the buzz about the Glamour magazine deal. Basically, in each Glamour Magazine, there is a free benefit pencil.

There are 3 different ones to collect. These are, Bad Gal Eyeliner, a soft black eye pencil, Eyebright Eyliner, a pink eyeliner, which is to be used in the inner corners of your eyes to make you look more awake, and It stick, a creamy concealer pencil.

Some people might just buy 1, but, after a long two hour search, I managed to find all three. Yay!:).

Here is some quick swatches I did for you guys :

Okay, so from top to bottom it goes, Bad Gal Eyeliner, Eyebright eyeliner, and It stick at the bottom.

First Impressions

Well, I think they're all very soft and creamy, and stay on well. I think the It stick concealer is maybe a tad orangey, but its not too bad. Bad Gal eyeliner is the best I think, it's my kind of eyeliner, and is easy to apply. The Eyebright is good too, it opens up your eyes, and gives the look of widened eyes.

I like all of the products, and for £6, you get 3 magazines, and £45 worth of quality Benefit products. I love this promotion! I don't know if its still for sale, but if it is, BUY IT!

Thanks everyone:)
