Desperate Housewives + Update

Hi everyone :)

So if you live in the USA, Desperate Housewives will have been on for a few weeks now, but here in the UK it started again for a new season.

I LOVE IT! I started watching Desperate Housewives at about Season 4, and I loved it so much, I went back and watched all the earlier episodes. It's so amazing, it can make me laugh, cry and be so shocked! The storylines are so good, and dramatic. It's my FAVOURITE tv show ever.. If you don't already watch it.. WATCH IT! It's on on Sundays on Channel 4 at 10pm, and on E4 at on Wednesdays at 10pm!

In other news, my local city got a Hollister, i'm so excited! I'm going up their to buy some new clothes, and pick up some make-up goodies on thursday.. I can't wait! I will definitely be picking up some MAC goodies, I really want Hue and Snob Lipstick, and maybe a Mineral Skinfinish in Natural? Not sure, Leave your suggestions below!

I love watching videos on youtube, and a lot of the videos I watch are Make-up related videos, but I love watching the Shaytard vlogs, I don't know how many of you have heard of them, but they are so good, and they always make me laugh, I love them! Check them out HERE!

September Favourites!

Hi everyone :)

So I know i'm really late with my September Favourites, but Better late than never yes?!

Here they are:

Benefit's High Beam - I bought this some time ago, and found it in my drawer at the beginning of September, and fell in love with it again! I don't have much left though!:(

Urban Decay Naked Palette - How could I not include this beauty in here?! It's so amazing, and definitely Worth the Hype!

GOSH Darling Lipstick - Originally, I wasn't as keen on this as everyone else, but I have found a new love for it! It's one of those lip products you can just slap on and walk out the door - I love it!

TRESemmé Dry Shampoo - My new favourite dry shampoo! I used to love Batiste, because it was cheap and smelt nice - but I find that in comparison to this, the Batiste smells heavily perfumed, whereas this smells more fresh, and clean.

YSL Teint Resist Foundation - I cannot say enough my love for this product! It goes on well, gives a medium coverage without looking cakey, stays on all day. LOVE IT!

YSL Touche éclat - I love this! It's one of YSL's most famous products, and I love it! I use it under my eyes.

YSL Faux Cils Mascara - Oh. My. God. No Mascara will ever be able to beat this one! It's amazing! I cannot talk about it enough. I love it so much!

Rimmel London Lash Accelerator Mascara - I really like this mascara too! Not as good as my YSL, but what is? I don't know if it really is making my lashes grow more, but it works well as a mascara, so i'm happy!

Nivea Pearl Shine Lip Balm - I picked this up without really looking at it much in Superdrug, as I was in need of a new Lip Balm, and I'm SO glad I did! It's lovely!

Nivea Oil Free Moisturising Fluid - I love this moisturiser! It works so well on my skin, by making it hydrated, but not leaving it shiny in the slightest! I really recommend it if you have combination - oily skin!

Silent Night Candle - Ok, I know this isn't a beauty product, but I just have to throw this in there! It smells AMAZING! I don't think it really makes me feel sleepy, but it smells so good! It also burns up to 35 hours! I love it!

Ins and Outs No.2

Thought I would do a little In and Out post for you all today!

IN!

1. X-factor Live shows!

I am a bit of an Xfactor fanatic, I just love it! So having the live shows back again, is amazing for me! Another sign that Christmas is coming!

2. Lauren Conrad's new book!

Lauren Conrad's book series LA Candy is one of my favourites, and the third book of the series came out about a week ago. It's called Sugar and Spice and i'm half way through it, and I am really loving it :).

3. Finding new music!

I have been looking for new music for a while, and I've found a new love in a singer called Uffie, and quite a few more!

4. HOLIDAYS!

I have 2 weeks off school just now, and I'm SO glad! I'm exhausted from all the work thats been piling up at school, so having a 2 week break is JUST what i've been needing! So Look forward to more posts!

5. Winter Weather!

The weather has been starting to get really cold and dark, and me loving winter, I love it!

OUT!

1. I have to get glasses!!:(:(

I had been finding it hard to read the board at school, so I went for an eyetest and was told that I needed to wear glasses full time. I am kind of gutted, but I am trying to look on the bright side! I think i'm going to look into contacts soon! I picked my glasses out, and they should be hear by tuesday, I'll do a little blog post on it with pictures!

2. My hair!

Last year in about June, I decided to get my hair cut into a bob shape, and I loved it for about a week? Then I hated it! I used to have hair about down to my ribs? and I got it all off :(. My hair grows so slowly, and i'm getting so impatient. GROW!

3. Laptop!

I got my laptop about 3 years ago? It's always been REALLY bad, since the day I got it, and it's being so annoying at the moment! I have to restart it like 5 times a day? Just to do anything on it. It's ridiculous!

So that's my In's out's for this week! I think I might try and do this once a week from now on :)

DIY Tinted Moisturiser!

I did so well last weekend with my blogging, and I kind of slowed down again this week.. sorry! I am back though! And I am now on holiday for the next 2 weeks so expect lots more blog posts!

I still need to do my september favourites.. I WILL do them this weekend - I promise!

Plus, all my lush stuff came and I got some bath stuff as a present to show you lot!

But onto todays post.

Now, the typical way to make a tinted moisturiser without actually buying one, is to mix your moisturiser and your foundation, but I have another way to show you! Probably 99% of you will know that you can do this, but whatever! I felt the need to blog!

I don't know about you, but I have had plenty of pressed powder smash, and leave me thinking that they have no use, and are just too messy to use. Well, I have a use now! Tinted Moisturiser!

What you'll need:

• Smashed up pressed powder
• Small Tub
• Moisturiser
• Something to mix it up with!

So, Heres what ya do!:

1. Take your pressed powder, and pour it into your small tub.

2. Take your moisturiser of choice. (Works best with a rich one!)

3. Squirt into your tub with your smashed pressed powder.

4. Mix it up!

Mine ended up a lot more smooth than this, and added more moisturiser, but, I stupidly forget to take a photo of the end product! Sorry!

So, there's a use for when your pressed powder gets smashed!

I changed up the blog layout, I'm not sure if I like it yet, but I am going to leave it up for a bit and see if I warm to it more!

LUSH - I love you!

So I am sure that most of you are aware of one of LUSH's most famous christmas items - Snow Fairy.

And, they have just released it again for christmas this year! YAY!

I didn't manage to get my hands on it last year, but i'm extra prepared this year, and i've already got it ordered.

I ordered two items..

Snow Fairy

I decided to only get 250g, just because i've never had it before, and I want a slightly smaller one than a big 500g and a bit bigger than 100g so I decided for the middle one! I'm sure I will love it though! SO EXCITED!

Snow Fairy Lip Tint

I wasn't originally going to buy this... but I saw it and thought.. Why not! It looks quite nice, and you can always do with a good lip balm in the cold winter months.. (which I love!)

So that was just showing you what i've bought.. I'll have a proper post up with picture and reviews up as soon as it arrives in the post! Which I hope is very soon!
